Would thoroughly recommend
Having suffered chronic back pain for 18months I am now, for the first time, making headway. I can go for whole days without pain & I am beginning to recognise my triggers & what causes my pain. I have a long way to go but this book is simply a godsend. If you want to save yourself the money of reading several books covering different aspects of this subject then buy just this because it tells you mostly all you need to know to thoroughly understand about the mind/body connect. This man genuinely cares.
I have ended up in tears while reading this, mainly because for once I was feeling validated and not looked at with a funny face or given stupid answers such as 'we may need to do a laparoscopy to find out if you have endometriosis'. That was the absolute apex of science fiction and comedy put together.
This chap is someone who knows what he's talking about and really helps you understand how your condition works.
The need for drugs is stated more than once, but it is very realistic and acknowledges its' not ideal to be taking x y z meds in order to sleep, take away the pain, and move in the same day.
