"A Baby's Cry" is another, beautifully written book by Cathy Glass. An account of her time when fostering a newly born baby and the mystery surrounding the circumstances.
Cathy writes so well, the true story just flows and you really cannot put the book down. It is like you are part of the experience.
The author is a very, very experienced foster carer who has a unique way of coping with every problem that is presented to her and yet at the same time, keeps her own children very much at the forefront to help and create a superb family environment for which ever child is in her care at the time.
To tell you more about the story will spoil it for the reader. Suffice to say if you have never read a Cathy Glass book, then do so - now!! You will not be disappointed.

I have read all of Cathy Glass true tales she has told from her experience of being a Foster Mum. Each time I am invited into her family that I too feel like I am being "fostered" by Cathy as I read and get involved in all aspects of her life and her family.

I truly loved this remarkable tale as the outcome for me was unexpected. I will be looking forward to the next real life tale by this author. She really has a way of writing. I also enjoy the fact that although she goes along with her role and commitment of being a foster mum she does stand up sometimes and be counted and make her point heard for the benefit of the child.

Thank you Cathy for another remarkable experience.

I didn't want the pages to end. This book is such a page turner. A amazingly written book by Cathy Glass which isn't unusual. I'm so glad it has a happy ending which I didn't think would happen.

Could not put the book down, a moving story. Showing how culture can change to accommodate what was previously considered impossible.
