1 minor throwback, the picture shows the material as a sort of acrylic/plastic when its actually rubber. However, it works just as well, so cant complain!
The product itself merits 5* if it works (which it does for us) but only 4 stars given due to lack of proper product info.
To help other potential buyers, the product is perfect for our doors which are 35mm thick. However doors that are much thinner or thicker might be a problem. Although I can't test it, an inspection of the product suggests that these would work with door widths in the range 32mm to 40mm; but probably not outside that range.
Edit: I've come back to this review a year on. They are starting to crack a little - I've uploaded a picture, but they have done their work well, protecting little fingers.
Can I say, though the people who have said in their reviews that this only fits doors thicker than 38mm are wrong. They've failed to notice that there is a second smaller gap on the other side of the clip, and that smaller gap will fit doors down to about 10mm. I've included a photo of one stuck on my desk so people can see.
The only thing is, the front and back doors are very heavy and bang terribly when people go in and out, so much so that everything in the building shakes and rattles, as this is a listed building it's very difficult to do anything about them without planning permission or huge expense!
So I was delighted when I received the Babydan door stops, peace and quiet at last!! they fitted perfectly on the rather hefty doors and work perfectly but with the amount of use they get I didn't think they would last the week, but over a year later they are still doing the job!!
Thank you Babydan for making our life more bearable!!!
These BabyDan ones are the most sturdy and do the best job we have found. They get a lot of wear in our house and each one lasts about 10 months before dropping down with a deafening door slam and you remember why you had one in the first place. We repeat buy this product because it does exactly what it says it will.
Highly recommended product.

Robust (hard rubber), easy to install and remove, cheap and very effective at a very good price. I like the fact you can hang them on the door handle when not in use. Read morePublished 2 months ago by MR JASON A GARNER
