Go anywhere with all-terrain mobility
Taking the city mini to the next level, the city mini GT gives you the ability to pave your own way. All-terrain wheels let you decide how far you want to go off the beaten path. And with little touches like an adjustable handlebar to adapt to the parent's height, and a hand-operated parking brake, the city mini GT is very accommodating. The city mini GT is not intended for jogging.
Quick Fold Technology
Lift a strap with one hand and the city mini GT folds itself: simply and compactly. It really is as easy as it sounds. And the auto-lock will lock the fold for transportation or storage.
Easily Adaptable Travel System
The city mini GT can become a travel system in a heartbeat. Just choose the car seat adapter that matches your car seat, snap it in and your travel system is ready to go. You can also add a pram to handle even the littlest of passengers. (Car seat adapter and prams sold separately).
This seat was built for comfort. It reclines to a near flat position with vents and a retractable weather cover to make sure that your child is comfortable and safe while you stroll.
Handlebar & Brake
An adjustable handlebar adapts to your height and a hand-operated parking brake keeps all the controls within reach.
Our SPF 50+ hood canopy can open to multiple positions. It even has two peek-a-boo windows so you can keep an eye on your precious cargo.
The city mini GT offers all-terrain wheels that can go from the city to the country. The all-terrain wheels and front wheel suspension work in unison to give you full control on where and how you go while keeping your little one comfortable.

Belly Bar (Single Mounting Bracket).
The Belly Bar gives your child a safe and comfortable area to hold on to while strolling. It adjusts at the push of a button and has a machine washable cover to make it easy to keep clean.

They haven't scored well for safety - only 4/10 as per this website: [...]
And also they have compromised a lot on quality.
The metal piece which functions as a wheel lock always pops up and doesn't go down, so the wheel can't turn around.
Then I have learned that the "front wheel locking mechanism" has been Baby Jogger's popular defect for a long time!
It's such as a bad impression of Baby Jogger to me.
I thought Baby Jogger Mini GT is one of the best in its class.
Really sorry that my first Baby Jogger turned my expectation down completely
It's not the smallest or lightest buggy but I don't find it bulky. It easily fits in the boot of both our Honda Jazz and Nissan Micra with the wheels left on. It can be folded up one handed by pulling the handle on the seat and is secured open with two poppers at the sides. The seat reclines almost flat so we've had no qualms using from birth with our now one month old. We fitted a "Universal Pushchair Seat Liner" from Mothercare which provides a little more padding and insulation but the straps fit him fine.
As others have commented, access to the under seat storage is a little tight. It can actually hold a surprisingly large amount and the soft sides mean you can stuff things in but it's not ideal if you want to use it for a changing bag. We just use a rucksack as a changing bag and stuff shopping and other bits under the seat.
Baby Jogger really know how to up-sell the accessories and nothing is included as standard, which is a little annoying. So far we've bought the Baby Jogger Maxi-Cosi Car Seat Adaptor (City Mini Series/Elite/Summit) which fits our Cybex Gold Aton 3S Infant Car Seat Group 0+ (Charcoal/ Black) and the Rain Cover to Fit Baby Jogger City Mini GT Single and Baby Jogger City Mini Single. The car seat bracket works well and is actually quite easy to fit and remove but we've tended not to use it too much - most of the time we'll either transfer him into the buggy or strap the car seat to a shopping trolley at the supermarket.
With only a month's use so far it's too early to say for sure how rugged it is, but it seemed to cope with a bit of walking in the Lake District last weekend so I'm confident it will do us well.
This one is fab. It's so easy to steer, I can actually push it round the supermarket with one hand while holding and breastfeeding my baby with the other. And I am not actually very physically able, so that is saying something. I love that I can see her and she can look up and see me even with the hood up. It has a generous shopping basket. The hand break is fantastic. The folding is dreamily easy. I take it with me even when I am slinging the baby, just to carry my stuff. It's brilliant.
We have been using a pushchair that his parents were gifted and decided to invest in a new version in the hope of many more grandchildren to come.
We did have a little wish List: grandson is chunky so a lot of pushchairs with a maximum weight of 20kg wouldn't be sufficient. This pushchair takes a weight of 29.5 kg one of the highest weights on the market so if we decide to go to Disneyland in a few years it would still be suitable for a young child.
The easy open and close was the clincher and you just pull a tab in the middle of the pushchair to fold it up. It folds neatly and takes up only one car seat unlike the previous version we had been using.
Hubbie is very impressed that the wheels can be removed with a quick push of a button and clicked back into place just as quickly.
As I am tall I wanted a buggy that wasn't an average height and the adjustable handle was another big tick.
It looks substantial and feels good to use. It's smart, stylish and functional. Even the harness is similar to a car seat harness and well thought out.
We looked at other brands "in shop" but I'm delighted we opted for this without having the benefit of recommendations and would highly recommend it.

The only bad thing is the basket is small and awkward to get to.
Only slight downside is the hood, wish it sat higher up.
The main downside for me is that the back wheels are very wide so not the easiest to manoeuvre...Read more
