I've started weaning but this book has given me some good recipe ideas to try and also informed me on a few things I wasn't aware of,even as a second time mum

3.0 out of 5 stars Some things haven't changed 26 Jan. 2013

Good for the first time mom who hasn't had much experience in the kitchen. I made my sons baby food over 30 years ago armed only with a basic food mill and no other input from others. The book interested me as I will become a first time grandmother this year and I wondered what is new. Nice to see I wasn't doing things too off the mark. The price was right and you don 't lose anything by reading it. If you are looking for the gourmands' guide to baby food you won 't be impressed but as a good decent place to start and maybe give you the confidence to make some truly homemade babyfood it is a good place to go. And yes Baby Food Is Easy.

I didn't get it on my device. Probably something I didn't do. So I bought the revised paperback book instead.

It was okay ... I've seen much better. Try "Top 100 Baby Purees" by Annabel Karmel. That book is great and has lots of great recipe ideas.

book was very entertaining.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great, but lacking content 31 Dec. 2012

Everything in this book has proved helpful, but I wish there was merely MORE. The book could have included more recipes and took the info it did give further. However, as I said, what the book DOES cover is great. For example, I LOVE the teething cookie recipes in the Teething section of the book.
