A very important work which will be on the shelves for many years to come and you will not regret it being on your shelf. It will become dog-eared and well used as a ready source of much needed ongoing information and ideas. You will gain from the decades of academic and practitioner experience that have gone into writing it and that are included on every page of this book full of interesting and much needed aspects of Accounts.
Highly recommended for students, for a professional catch up to the Finance Professional or Business Manager or for just about anyone who wants to know more about Business.

The book views accounting as an integrated and essential tool to business decisions. Really enjoyed (I know; ENJOYED) understanding how accounting and strategic business decisions are put in context.
Great little examples sprinkled in each chapter to clarify your understanding; I could do most of these in my head but a few did require a pencil and a few post it's.
If you are studying an MBA or a postgraduate degree of any kind that requires a broad understanding of accounting information: then this would be top of my list.
