5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent resource 16 Jan. 2014

Format: Paperback
If you are looking for a world view study that will help put into perspective the debate on origins of life between Creationists and Evolutionists, this is for you. Parker is uniquely qualified to explain both sides, having been an enthusiastic evolutionist professor before changing his mind after years of study and debate. Of great value are the beginning chapters which help to clarify what science is and what it is not, allowing readers to understand how evolutionist scenarios are no more scientific than the creationist model for the origin of the earth.

1.0 out of 5 stars I hope there are better books on this topic 17 Nov. 2012
By Likes to listen to radio - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
There were too many unreferenced claims in this book so I read beside my laptop and used Google. Many claims the author made are just plain false He attributes things to Darwin that are just plain false in an attempt to discredit Darwin I suppose, but if you need to scoop that low, then the author should not claim he is an academic. He author also makes a claim about something Jack Horner said, even though Jack Horner flatly denies ever saying it. If this book is used as a text book in the debate between evolution and creation, anyone with half a brain will come away convinced the evolutionists are right, since the author is obviously wrong. I'm sure there are better books on this topic written by real academics who will provide a bibliography of their sources, and they won't be just other creationist.
