The page facility is good as if you put the phone down and can't remember where it is, then you should be able to locate it by paging. However, the batteries seem to last only for a short while, and I've found that if you leave the phone off the charger for more than about a day, then the batteries run out and of course you can't then page it to locate it!
It has a large phone book and the copy from SIM facility is excellent - however it seems mad to have to then copy the phone book to each handset individually. I know other makes of phone do automatically update all handsets when you change an entry in the phone book, so it's clearly not difficult to add this feature.
To be honest, not sure I would buy another BT cordless dect phone.
I am looking around for new phones would not look at BT after this experience but not sure what else to pick. It was my own fault that I delayed complaining to Amazon but I still think that phones should last longer then a year I cannot recommended this phone at all
Even though the replacement rechargeable batteries were fully charged, the connection began to cut out when I tried to answer a call, or make a call or put the call on loud speaker.
Though the handset charging light is red and the handset is in the cradle, when picked up, "Base 1" flashes up, then the screen goes blank and no calls can be made. The batteries appear run down. As we know rechargeable batteries are not cheap.
Its starting to get on my nerves!
Would I recommend it? Absolutely no way!!!
I hear Phillips' phones have similar facilities but are of a better quality ...
However, these phones are so horrendus that I felt I had to tell people to avoid them at all costs!
Constant white noise from the moment the handset is activated, batteries dying after 5 mins, handset failing all the time, base unit not working.......
Need I go on!!? Spend your money on some decent Panasonic phones, as I should have done first with hindsight.
AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
The battery life cuts out after approx 10mins no good if you are put on hold and usless if you want to chat to a friend, if you move from the base it starts bleeping thought cordless phones were for this cant use in the garden or in the conservatory people cant hear you. I think BT ought to take them off the market.
