Another brilliant read, good storyline again which tangled with all emotions. Love the characters and unlike some series I don't feel that information is being over lapped from the previous books, from page one to the last you don't need to skip parts as you feel it's repetitive.

There are other books in this series but this can be read as a stand alone, personally I would say read the previous books in order to get more of the background materials, I think that the secondary characters in this book, who are obviously more prominent in the other books leave their mark on this story and you will need to know why.
Zeb Wilkes aka as Runner has avoided any form of commitment, settling down is an alien concept!
But when he gets kicked out of Temptress he has time on his hands and ends up at Sarah’s Place.
Now Sarah is no stranger to Zeb, so to speak, they have met previously but she is so far removed from the type of woman that he is used to that this shy woman might just be at the back of Zeb’s line.
But when he happens upon her in an uncomfortable situation while he is taking some time out for himself in the diner, he wasn’t ready to find himself playing the knight in shining armour.
Desperate to just have a few minutes to himself he didn’t like the look of panic that was etched on Sarah’s face.
He may be an ass but he has come to a point where something other than the life he is leading at the minute may look a little more appealing!
Sarah’s turmoil has started to settle down and she finally thinks she has finally found her happy place but life has other ideas and when her past confronts her, the one person she would least expect stands tall on her behalf. But is Zeb enough to keep the devil from her door?
Both of them have demons and danger littering not only their pasts but also their futures. They have scars that they hide so well but others demons refuse to lay down and play dead and Eddie may just be the one to finish not only her but Zeb off!

Bikers, playboys, MC's what more can you ask for in a book. It is no secret that I am a lover of biker reads and this one didn't disappoint.

Zeb "Runner" Wilkes is one playboy, a member of the Black Thorn's MC, he is one of those alpha males that likes no strings attached. He has demons that he protects himself from never getting close to people. That is until one night he steps in to protect a diner owner.

Sarah owns a diner, but also holds secrets that she needs to protect. On the run from an abusive ex, she tries to get on with her life. A blast from her past enters her diner one night and Sarah is again forced to remember her horrific past. Little does she know there is a knight on metal horse about to save her.

Love ensues, violence, protection, family, this book has it all. It was a beautiful read, a real page turner.

MC lovers will love this read.

HASH(0x9e9eae28) out of 5 stars In Love with the Black Thorns! 19 Jan. 2016

Format: Kindle Edition
BLAMELESS: MC Biker Romance (Black Thorns, #3)
Franca Storm
5 stars

Other books in the series: Reckless & Souless – This book can be read as a standalone but I would recommend it … you need to meet Roxanna James, Ax, Smiter, Grit, Runner, Dealer, & Sarah in full force. These characters do appear in Blameless and reference to their relationships will make you appreciate what they have been through to get to where they are now.

Zeb “Runner” Wilkes has never considered settling down. In fact his hands have gotten him in trouble with Halle, the owner of Temptress one too many times that now he isn’t allowed to part take in much of anything with any of them. Being kicked out again by Halle, he finds himself in front of the flashing pink neon sign of “Sarah’s Place.” He knows her from being around Rox and Ax at a particular event. She is a shy and frail girl with several nervous habits making her way too bashful for Runner. Not that he is looking because he wont ever be but putting his junk into the closest and willing woman is getting tiresome. Happy to find peace and quiet at the diner in his corner booth Runner finds himself protecting Sarah as the past has found her and she looks terrified.

Sarah Hughes has finally been calm and uneventful, just how she likes it. Her past is nothing to write home about even if she had one. Finding herself making a tasty dinner for the handsome biker sitting alone she comes back out from the kitchen only to find herself eye to eye with the one person who can snuff out any hope of serenity.

Both of these characters are scarred but in different ways. Each need the other to find their reason to look for the sun. Eddie Torvin will ruin her. His dead black eyes will burn into her leaving her broken for the rest of her life. She cant bring this Runner but little does she know is Eddie is already linked to the club. Runner is pulled back into his own hell and this time he might just not come back from it because after twenty years; he is back to being nothing. Everything he fought to try to become is gone in one swift push.

There are some gut wrenching moments in this one my friends. You come to realize how hard Runner has clawed his way out of his past only to be pushed back in all while begging not to be. Sarah is his angel or at least wants to be. Her own past makes her a warrior but she will need to reach deep within herself to save not only her soul but also Runner’s.

Click this one up friends. If issues with drugs are a trigger for you please do not click this one up. If you have not read the previous two releases grab those as well. This is a wonderful, exciting and tremendously written series. Go click it …

Thank you Franca! Keep them coming .. Im in love with the Black Thorns. Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.

Eddie is the man you will not just love to hate you will NEED to hate, I wished I could have reached onto the page and wrung his neck!!
But could they find a happy ever after for them both and what toll would the struggle to get there take on them both?
Sarah has her hands full when it becomes clear that she is going to have to find a strength that she probably never realised she had in order to save them both. Would Zeb last that long, could he survive the challenges that he faces and the fight that seems to surrounding him?
Please have tissues to hand while you read this book – it is not a weepy as such but there are some aspects where they will definitely be required!
This is a well written book, it is descriptive and intense but it has its own unique deviances that allow it the opportunity to stand out from the crowd.
A great read.
HASH(0x9ee08528) out of 5 stars #RAWGRITTYANDREALISTIC 11 Jan. 2016
By Jennifer Pierson: The Power of Three Readers - Published on Amazon.com

I have become very addicted to this author's writing, and so I LOVED LOVED LOVED this story. Zeb "Runner" Wilkes is the wild man whore of the Black Thorns MC. His life consists of partying and screwing every woman he can. When he steps in to protect a shy diner owner, he quickly figures out there's more to her than any of them gave credit for. Once he gets a taste of her, he starts to realize that his life isn't all that it's cracked up to be. Sarah Hughes has been staying to the ground, living her life in peace. She never gets involved with any man, as the demons of her past have taught her well. When her brutal ex finds her, everything changes as she spends time with Zeb. They are healing each other the more time they spend with each other. But when a blast from the past attacks Runner, will Sarah be able to keep him from going down a dark path where he loses everything, including his life?

WOW! I can still feel the pain that came out of my kindle to throat punch me with Runner and Sarah's pasts. The character development is great, and I loved how even though they found everything they believed in is wrong, it still was a path of mistakes, and not smooth sailing. A action packed, intense, and well written story line flowed very smoothly. Franca Storm does a brilliant job showing the realistic side of addiction, and tore my heart out with the emotions. She kept my heart racing cover to cover, and I didn't put the story down until the very end. Flammable chemistry lead to explosive sexy scene goodness, and well placed humor had me laughing hard while letting me catch my breath. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this series, and I can't wait to read the next book! I absolutely HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
HASH(0x9ee086d8) out of 5 stars Gritty & Emotionally Intense MC Read With an Unforgettable Male Lead.... 11 Jan. 2016
By J. Faltys - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Readers, like myself, obsessed with MC-themed romances will want to add the Black Thorns series to their bookshelf for its compelling characters and gritty world that's full of intense emotions and danger from unexpected places. When two apparent opposites make a commitment it leads to heartache, tears, and numerous erotic encounters that kept me glued to the pages and on the edge of my seat as HEA didn't always seem possible.

Runner (Zeb) has always been seen as the party-loving, whoring biker. He never took responsibility and never wanted to commit to anything other than his Club. Lately though those vices aren't satisfying him and he's starting to feel lost. Meeting the shy and meek Sarah unexpectedly reignites his zest for life though and amps up his protective instincts as her kind heart calls to his bruised soul. He doesn't think himself worthy of her because of his dirty past and his partying ways but he can't stay away from her, especially now as her past has come to hurt her all over again. His past has come back to haunt him too, forcing him back into the misery of drugs he left behind twenty years ago. It's an abyss of pain that's palpable, sadness and feelings of being out of control had me aching for him as he goes as low as any person can with only Sarah's love to pull him back. Even as he recovers danger still lurks, closer than ever before which puts Sarah in even more danger. Though he and Sarah look to be complete opposites they're perfect for each other as he gives her strength and rebuilds her self-esteem with his sexy words while she brings peace to his turbulent mind. Though he doesn't feel worthy she makes him feel like the most important man in her world. I adored Zeb and all his rough edges with his way of speaking that's not at all refined but strengthened the image I had of him that had me connecting to him even more. He had a hidden heart of gold that had him treating Sarah like a queen, going slowly with her to help her work through her painful past. He was a different man with Sarah, a stronger man in mind and body...a phoenix rising from the ashes.

Sarah's past is one of pain due to the physical and sexual abuse of a vile man causing problems for the Black Thorns and bringing him back into her life. Sarah's made a life for herself, one she's proud of despite the fears she still carries. She's shy around men, hiding her body and the scars it carries. Being around Zeb doesn't make her fearful though, it makes her feel powerful and brings out her long-dormant sexuality in numerous erotic encounters that start out slowly to morph into something more meaningful. She's fearful of losing control of the new life he's helped her discover but with danger inside the Club and out she'll have to rely on Zeb more than ever before. With their HEA in doubt from her self-doubts, her angry ex, and someone else close to the Club, it all leads to a conclusion that had my heart racing. For the most part I liked Sarah as she's always there for Zeb, even at his lowest point. She brings meaning to his life, gives him pride in being the man she needs. She's weak early on though and riddled with low self-esteem, letting her past rule her future with fear, and I never thought she'd get a backbone. Being in the MC though brings out a badass side to her that ultimately had me applauding as she finally became worthy of being called his Old Lady.

This was a compelling read full of intense emotions. Issues of drug addiction and all the pain surrounding it was vividly depicted. The loneliness and depression of it were powerfully portrayed and brought out a few tears in me as Zeb's desperation became more apparent. Sarah's pain was obvious too and I admired her rebuilding her life from the degradation her ex heaped on her. The relationship between Zeb and Sarah was immensely satisfying, sweet and sexy. They gave unconditional love to each other and it's that love that helped them reach their HEA despite all the danger and self-doubts. I also enjoyed the large cast of secondary characters who are like family with their support and heartfelt banter and I'll definitely be going back to read the previous installments as these characters called to me. With all its steaminess and unflinching realism this was a story I was sad to see end but I look forward to more stories set in this unforgettable world.
