The author takes you through the configuration step by step. Very easy to understand but you'd need to be aware of the underlying technologies.
Currently have CCNP R&S however it does not cover BGP in very much detail apart from the basics. Hence I though to give it a try given the low price - not much to lose right?! Well worth every penny!
Very good value - highly recommended!

Love this book, love the way it is written in an easily digestible way. Big network diagram that you follow from beginning to end as the author configures everything needed to know and explains the ins and outs of the technology. A refreshing change from the tedious eggheads from Cisco press.

This is the best BGP book I have ever read. You get a network diagram, then each chapter leads you through the concepts of a different topic one at a time in an understandable manner. I have used it to study for the CCIE V5, and even though I have had plenty exposure to the BGP, I found this book a must have.

This book covers BGP concisely with clear explanations & makes good use of lab scenarios with outputs to aid understanding. It's easier to understand than most of the official Cisco books!
My only complaint would be that as this is a self-published book there are a few typos & mistakes, but the author publishes errata on his website.
