    Great Album. Elles Bailey one of UK's best female singer songwriters. I have watched Elles Bailey since seeing her on the Introducing stage at the Great British Rock and Blues Festival which sadly is no more Shame as it was a great festival. And Elles co writes with several other people which has helped her song writing and able to put out album every year to 18 months or so. This is the best one so far. songs like 1972 which gives you a feel and takes you back to the time of Kiss me Quick hats and all that. Turn off the news when she sings those seven children which sends a shiver down your spine. Elles is building step by step and the Album made the top 20 UK Album charts and hopefully if she gets to follow this up Quickly will build on that. Go see her Live she is very good with great band. She is Supporting Rag and Bone Man at the Open Air theatre in Scarborough summer 2025. A great double bill Elles is worth the price alone.

    I'd heard a lot about Elles Bailey from people connected to the Bristol music scene. They all said she was on the rise and it appears I have inadvertantly landed on her most polished work to date.
    A terrific bunch of songs; excellent arrangements and production ... featuring top class musicians.
    I have to agree my friends were right; 'Beyond The Neon Glow' is a fine album - if you are one who likes discovering excellent new music, buy this album. It will not disappoint.

To remedy this I add: It is clear these tunes are an incredible synthesis of the best aspects of multiple genres from the last 50 years - with a distinct ‘newness’.
