Just what you'd expect from the BBC, feels very Open University "unsprung". Only 4 stars simply because the illustrations in the Kindle version can feel a little patronising at times. Marine that was only in the forest issue I read though? I'll edit this review if that's the case.

When i first bought my kindle i was disappointed by the lack of good magazines of this genre however having subscribed to Focus i would highly recommend it. It is easy reading especially if you have a reasonable science background. I use the paperwhite so illustrations are very limited but i accept that. Great topics..informative and varied. Highly recommended.

Very disappointed with the appearance and apparent abridged ? content of the digital version. Possible this could be my kindle app not displaying it correctly but regardless would not unfortunately purchase this great magazine digitally again.

really disappointed as when I ordered it, it said current issue (April)! Instead I received January's issue! I only purchased it for an article on the Hadron collider. Can't even find out if there is a way to get my money back.

It's very interesting if you are a bit nerdy like me! Very BBC4 if you enjoy Proff Brian Cox, or anything on Eden, then this is for you. 90 days free is a good Kindle deal.

A most interesting magazine which is full of well researched and referenced topics. The scope of the publication is both wide and varied.

Not bad. On the kindle there is a picture per page which makes for a lot of page turning for not much text but the content is good.
