4 screws and wall plugs are included, and you also got rubber feet to prevent vibration and stop the speaker sliding about whilst on the bracket. You get 6 of this but I found that 4 was sufficient. I'm not sure of the previous reviewer's problem with this item, it suits me perfectly and I have the black one as it fits in with my other brackets (I have 7 speakers on the wall in total!)
It provides a more convenient solution to shelving and allows wires to be run to the back of it. Just make sure you measure up before you start drilling - you don't want the brackets to be on the very fringe of the item, but they shouldn't be positioned too close together. I'm pleased with the bracket and can't see any users having an issue with it if you just want a quick and easy way to place your centre on the wall, or a STB/DVD player etc.
As the illustration clearly shows, this package of two simple but extremely strong L-shaped black wall brackets is primarily intended to support a single, probably horizontal speaker, although the arms are long enough to support other items: A small DVD player, for example. Most people will be considering using them to support a heavy, high-power surround-sound centre speaker directly above or below a TV screen, for which purpose they are ideally suited. The horizontal portion of the bracket - the bit which supports the speaker - is adjustable for length, in the range of 180mm to 290mm. The manufacturer's stated maximum weight capacity is a pretty hefty 15 Kilograms (33lbs).
As the speaker simply rests on the arms, there are no vice-like clamps or fixing screws which would otherwise damage the finish on the speaker. The kit includes some little silicone dimples (like stick-on feet) to be stuck on the upper surface of each bracket arm to stop the speaker from sliding around, and also provide a degree of acoustic insulation to reduce the amount of vibration which might otherwise be transferred into the wall through the brackets.
In view of the likely combined weight of brackets and speaker, I would not recommend placing them on anything less than a brick, briezeblock or stone wall - certainly not on plasterboard. The brackets wouldn't give way, but the wall... might.
The kit comes with all necessary screws, wall plugs, washers and so on required to mount these on a hard wall. You'll need an 8mm masonry drill bit.
Purchased from Keene (via Amazon) in my case, delivery was prompt and goods brand new and boxed.
Fitting was straightforward, although you should use a spirit level. It would look awful if the two separate brackets weren't on the same level, so it is worth taking time to ensure this. The arms themselves are sturdy and come with 4 bits of plastic so your lovely wooden speaker has something "sticky" to rest on rather than bare metal.
My centre speaker was quite small, so these arms were on the long side, but they do adjust - see the specs. I wish they adjusted smaller - there seems to be a huge amount of adjustment for bigger speakers, but not for smaller ones.
I don't like the fact that the speaker is just resting on the arms rather than being gripped, but there isn't a bracket I found that does grip them. No mishaps so far, so I'm happy.
Nothing is loose (yet) haha and the 10.CM is a VERY big and heavy speaker.
Use spirit level to makes sure its level.
Could be improved with elongated fixing holes for adjustment. I drilled these just a little bigger

Not as good as I was expecting, given that the other speaker mounts are rock solid, not even using them now, does the job, but flimsy.Published 15 months ago by TAZ007
I used them to mount my Yamaha soundbar below the TV. Easy to install, well made, does the job.Published 16 months ago by t a brown
