I bought this DVD first and foremost for the 3D aspect as choice is limited and i love watching in 3D.
To that end job done, the 3D in this film is excellent but the film is quite boring and unexceptional.
In summary, as a documentary on the Azores very disappointing,
The whole thing is shot in the sea, i would have liked to have seen some of the actual Azores on land, frankly it could have been anywhere. The poor commentary doesn't help.
if you don't have 3D avoid.
But factor in the 3D and it is okay, however 3D films shot in the sea are abundant and there are much better choices out there.
However at this price you can't really go wrong.

Why bother to film this in 3D,just occasionally some little fish come out of the screen, for that I can just convert a 2d picture to 3d using the tv or bluray player, plus just 50 minutes of film and no much variety of sea life, dont worth the price of 10 quid and now cost £16,when part 2 be available I will buy when is on sale.

I'm not sure I realized it wasn't a BBC production before ordering this DVD... but I soon realized when watching: poor luminosity (either pale or sometimes totally black in deep water), cameraman unable to keep pace with fish swimming calmly,... At best, I would say it maybe matches BBC productions from 15 years ago. 7£ for 50 minutes of that quality is kind of a theft.

Film is ok for the price but camera stays to long on one fish making and makes the film a bit borring in most places to watch. Would have been better with more colourful fish. Ok for the money if you bought your first 3D TV and Blue ray playes and want to experience 3D.
