I'm not usually one to buy an album on hearing one track, but when i heard 'Kyrptonite', i totally fell in love with Brad Arnold's voice and the guitar riffs which followed. Many albums you grow to like on hearing time an time again, but from 'When I'm Gone' through to 'Kryptonite' and another two bonus tracks, i was stunned. The lyrics aren't meaningless and durgy like many other bands, they do tell a story an they do get you thinking. What more can i say. It's amazing. Totally amazing. You'd be stupid not to buy it. What are you still sat there for. BUY IT!

I have listened to this album 3 times since the purchase 2 days ago and am in heaven... Lyrics superb, sound great... Nothing else I can personally want from an album apart from more tracks. Away from the sun and The road i'm on are great tracks getting harder the further you go, great album... Buy it!

this is the second full release for this band, and is the follow up to the hugely successful "the better life", and at the first listen it is a bit of a letdown. where "the better life" had the immediatley catchy tunes, the kind of tunes that stick in your head, but dont get annoying and it had a classic song in the form of "be like that." "away from the sun" however, is a lot more of a grower. At first it dosnt seem to live up to expectations. after a few listens though you can begin to see, or hear, the deeper side to this album. "the better life" woz an album about the difficulty of life, and asking if its worth it, and from the first listen this seems like the same again. but actually it is an album of hope, and even love. the lyrics have true meaning and show light at the end of the tunnel, even if some are more depressing. the title track, for example is about depression and darkness. but then in songs like "i feel you" you can see hope in this mans life.
after a few more listens you realize that this is just as good as the first album, if not better, but it is difficult to compare. they both have the catchy guitar riffs, and the meaningful lyrics and the stunning vocals. but each has a seperate meaning and this album is brilliant in its own right.
i reccomend you buy this album after listeing to the first release to see the full power of hope in the songs.
great band, awesome album

I bought this album recently and I just keep listening to it.
So often after a great first album the second release is a bit of a let down. NOT SO HERE.
If possible this band have outshon their first album. I can't find one track that is not worth listening to.
Away From The Sun and The Road I'm On are star turns.
Do your ears a favour and treat them to this album.
