what a beautiful book, But what a killer!!? I really did not see this book going the way it did at the end, im so naive. Then I was so mad at you Mrs Wolfe!! cue the ugly crying! sob sob sob! (how will i explain my puffy red eyes on the school run?)
The epilogue has me so intrigued-Please please tell me there will be a sequel where we will learn more about Dan?! I would also love to read more about Moose and Mel too.
5 thoroughly deserved stars! awesome!!!!!!!!!!!
This book is brilliantly planned out and the pace lulled me into a rhythm of content easy reading and then at about 60% in bam ! - it hit me with an emotionally charged wave.
I kept thinking no surely not this cant be ! There's a new twist coming and the HEA will be achieved......but who's to say what a HEA actually is? Maybe for some its not the outcome of a situation but more what you take from the journey you experience.
Fate if you like, has a way of showing us that life is precious at any age whether it be a newborn baby to an elderly person.
This is a story of courage, love and survival.
I enjoyed this book and I would definitely recommend it. It's an emotional one but not one to be missed.
I loved Cassie. That poor girl has had a pretty unhappy life and is dealing with some pretty major issues. Jase comes into her life, quite literally like a knight in shining armour, and the chemistry between them is instant. He is such a perfect gentleman and you can see that even though he is hiding his own secrets, he is willing to put those aside to support Cassie.
" I feel all of it, every goddamn bit of it, Cassie. From day one, you had me, you owned me, my thoughts, my everything. I couldn't stop thinking about you, I didnt want to"
Jase and Cassie are so perfect for each other and you find yourself rooting for them to just throw caution to the wind and go for it. They are supported by some great characters ~ I loved Melanie and Moose and would definitely like to find out more about them. The writing is perfect and I just couldnt fault the storyline at all. I have to say that there isnt really a happy ever after and it seems like things are left open for a continuation of the story (I'll need to go hound B.A Wolfe on Facebook now to see what we can expect in the future)
This really is a sweet love story and I totally fell in love with it and Im so excited to read more from this author.
