For most of this book I was thinking 'Farscape, this is just Farscape'. Finally towards the end it got a bit different to Farscape at last.
Don't get me wrong, I loved Farscape, I have all the series on DVD and Peacekeeper Wars.
This book is based around the same basic premise, a scientist goes through a warp/wormhole/whatever spacial anomaly you like, and ends up elsewhere and caught up in battle, quickly joins th rebels against the evil empire, etc etc etc
Maybe because I did love Farscape, I actually enjoyed this book an awful lot. In fact I found it unputdownable. I liked the writing style, which was fast enough paced, I liked the characters, the alien-ness of things etc.
A good read and well worth the current 77p asking price.

Story line was fast paced with a great flow. The author manages to tell a story in such a way that one feels they are living In the moment of the story. Swan knows when to throw in the surprises and shockers. You won't see it coming I hate it when reviews give away the plot so I will end it there. A must read. For those who usually don't choose science fiction books, this will change your mind.

How this book doesn't have a copy right infringement suite I don't know. The book reads like he wrote them while watching each episode of the Farscape series. Every chapter seems to be about an episode and is as disjointed as far as plot is concerned.
