How to review without spoiling........I can't! Read it, loose your temper, laugh like a loon and sigh as it all comes clear in the end.
Must admit for those left behind I would love to read what happens.
Ok so it's taking me a good few hours to prepare to write this review. I'm in such a massive book hangover. I haven't a clue what to do with myself.
This book is a fantastic series. I have been hooked from book one. I found out that they would be a third book and was so excited. Obviously this author still had a story to tell. (lucky us)
So here i am writing my review on book 3.
Wow just wow this book was amazing. Perfect ending to the series. This author has an amazing talent. She wrote the book to perfection!
Did i mention that i love this series. I loved this series from the first word in book 1 to the very last word in book 3.
AT was the biggest rollacoster ride i had ever been on.I felt every emotion every twist and turn to the gut wrenching drops to the highs and lows it was brilliant. I have read many love triangle books and always stuck to my decision on which guy should win. With the first two books i was set and knew who i wanted. That was until i read AT. The author made me fall in love with all 3 guys. They all had something special and i would of been happy with whatever guy Lexi choose. ( lucky for me she choose my guy)
The story was told in such a way that the guy who didn't win Lexi's heart was a true gentleman and beautiful person. I actually wanted him to win at one point . sadly only one person could win lexi's heart and the way it was writing in to the book was perfect.
This series is by far my favorite series of all time. I will be reading many more books this author plans to pen. She writes books that drive you crazy, causes your temperature to rise and heart to melt. I couldn't ask for anything more.
Its all bekhas fault!! and did that bitch get her just deserves. Absolutely brilliant.
I'm glad I got the ending I wanted but it was slightly painful getting there. The flashbacks and John's constant attempts to get back with Lexi really didn't add anything to the story. Instead of leaving her getting back with Jack until near the end of the book I would have liked to have seen it happen half way through. At least we could have seen their relationship develop and maybe add a happy ending for Ramsey in there too, as he wasn't a bad guy.
So even though I was confident that my team was going to win, every so often I got worried. So reading this book had me on the edge of my seat, because, really, how confident could I actually be???
Book one and two, I hated Ramsey, he just made my skin crawl and there was no way that I was going to like him in book three!!!!! Haha how wrong was I!!!!!! Yes I will put my hands up I LOVED RAMSEY!!! But not like I loved jack!!!
Then there was John, OMG he was just so funny and I had to cringe for poor Lexi.
"That's where I always find you."
5% into the book I was like WTF, this can't be happening and then I took a moment and thought I may not like this but O my goodness this man is adorable.
Then 7% came along, lmao I cringed poor Lexi did not see that coming and I couldn't help but laugh out loud. John was all I expected him to be and more, at times my heart ached for this man...
"So what made you change your mind?"
"Why does it matter?" Lexi asked, sidestepping
"I want to know, so I can figure how to change it back."
This girl had men falling at her feet and I've heard many people say she must have a magic lady part, but truth was she was strong, and men loved it, you may not have seen that in book one and two but this book she really did make me proud.
Jack has always been the man for me and he became so much more in AT, he really grew into a man even after all those BIG mistakes he came to realise that Lexi deserved it all.
"I just thought...it would make you happy. I know I can't make up for everything, but as long as you're happy, then that's all that matters."
I loved seeing Jack and Lexi be friends, it's something that has never happened before, but while I watched this blossom, my heart ached at how perfect they truly was for each other. They bond was closer than before.
"Don't forget I know who you are as much as you know who I am."
"No, are you really, really happy? Like you'll never really be sad again because you have everything you want. Are you happy like that, Lex?"
Watching Ramsey and Lexi was bittersweet, because he wasn't the man I thought he was, I could see he loved Lexi with all he had but I couldn't see the love that Jack had for Lexi and Lexi had for Jack. I know people will disagree and will say "Hey look at the last ten years!" But I did and all I saw was two people that were fighting something so strong that it terrified them. I don't agree on the cheating, but I agree on timing and fate. All those painful conversations, I felt them...
"Why did you stay friends with me, Lex?"
"Why? Why didn't you try with me? Why every other person but me? Why am I still the only one here, Jack?"
He was just Jack - the blue eyed, smirking, beautiful man she had loved for far too long.
Chyna was the amazing best friend she has been from day one and I loved to see her grow and get her HEA, I loved how honest she was...
"I think the problem isn't that you can't forget your past, it's that you don't want to," Chyna spoke finally.
I'm so glad that Lexi, pulled herself together and realised that all this bull shit had to stop, she had to pick one, not because they wanted her to but because she wants too.
"Don't remind me that I gave you up for this."
"I want what I want, and I'm not ashamed of it. I'm not asking for those things - yet. I'm just asking for dinner."
"Losing you was the biggest mistake of my life. I don't think another person deserves to feel that loss at my expense."
"I know it's been rough lately," he said, drawing back, "but I love you so much. I'm glad you stuck with me through the bad. I promise to keep pushing to make it better from here on out, okay?"
So three men, one beautiful lady......
One ... hasn't got a chance.
Two .... is Mr Right now................or is he????
Three ...... Mr forever and always............or is he???
Just read and find out
I held on to my team all the way through, team Jack was always the side I stayed on, did you, or did you change teams????
A book giving me the emotions this book did, the tears that fell, can only mean one thing YES IT'S A 5 STAR READ AND MORE!!!!!!!!!
O Bitch Bekah is not even worth a mention.
Worst thing about this book, is one team doesn't get to know what really happens to their man, I know we can imagine but nothing better that black and white from the author.
All one team got was this...I can't say if it's my team or not...
"I already have one that belongs to me, it was saved for me before I even knew who you were."
No matter what the ending, for whatever team, this story was purely magical.
