I bought this bag to travel to Malta. My initial thought was it was too big for the bike i had but once I had packed it properley it was the right size. The only reason for giving it 4 stars was that it could do with some wheels on it. The reviews saying that this bag is useless on flights is nonesense. It is down to the way the bike is packed and how the space in the bag is filled. I used lots and lots of bubble wrap and kept everything secure so the wheels were either side of the frame and cable tied to it, but they were also bubble wrapped so they would not move much.

All in all a good bike bag as long as you pack it properley without much movement. big and bulky at the airport and sometimes difficult to transport but i would definately use it again. Worth the money.

Flew my bike in this on a long haul flight - added some extra cardboard and foam to pad gears/sensitive bits out and everything arrived nicely in one piece. Bike is quite easy to carry in this on shoulder too. Very happy.

Pretty good bag for carrying my bike around when needed unsure about using it on a plane but for carrying the bicycle in a car or on a train for example the TGV in France - excluding those that allow fully assembled bikes where you only need to physically carry the bicycle and bag by the shoulder straps a short distance it is a good bag for the price and can it can collapse down to a reasonable size for carrying the bag around when the bicycle is full assembled.

this is a fantastic bag, my bike has went through 5 airports and it has survived with it but I have added a little extra protection.

the bag is sturdy enough and well made, the wheels has two pouches in the inside and I glued in some foam matting to give them some extra protection but I am so happy with this buy.

For cheap bike bag it does the job - if flying you will need to use extra padding to protect your bike. The lack of wheels makes travelling quite difficult. I would recommend going for something with wheels and a bit more padding especially if travelling on public transport or flying

My off road bike (smallest frame) fits with both wheels de-attached inside the sides of the bag. Peddles can stay on. The bag provides padding but it still quite light weight, very bulky when rolled up.

I bought this for a cycling tour of Italy as my main criteria was not having to dismantle the bike too much. From that perspective this bag really works as I only had to take off the wheels and loosen and twist the handlebars whereas others I was with who had hard cases had to spend a hour or so taking their bikes apart. For the price this is fantastic although my usage was in a van and not subject to airline baggage handlers. A good large roomy bag with enough space to fit in all accessories and great value for money.

Good quality bike bag that has protected the back seats of my ford fiesta quite successfully, it fits in the car with only 2 of the 3 rear split seats down. I can fit my road bike (Felt Z85) and cross bike (Cannonade CAADX105) in the bag (individually) with ease and only need to remove the wheels (no messing around with pedals and handle bars). I wouldn't fancy transporting the bikes in this internationally without the worlds supply of bubble wrap but if you want an alternative to attaching your bike to the outside of your car its a very viable alternative.
