One of the best avengers tales ever wonderman rocks

Classic Avengers vs the over emotional robot. I like the way where other sci fi goes on about robots being cold and unemotional, Ultron is suffering because he is caught between life and machine. He wants to wipe out and dominate humans, yet he loves them.

I wanted to read up on Ultron before next year's release of Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron. I had seen many Avengers cartoon, especially Earth's Mightiest Heroes (Season 1 and 2) and grew fond of Ultron. He quickly became my favorite Avengers adversary. Although his story is a small but significant part in Bride of Ultron and several other villains appear in the comic too, I really enjoyed reading about Ultron, Jocasta (his bride), Hank Pym and Wasp as well. Would absolutely recommend this to any Marvel fan, especially those who like Avengers and want to know more about Ultron's motives.

This has been some time in the pipeline from Marvel and was touted in different formats. However, they plumped for this pocketbook format, a series which appears to have been very successful. I have all the Spider-Man and X-Men in this series and the colour and paper quality are just as good as the large hardbacks. And the price is brilliant, too. This pocketbook covers Avengers 158 - 167 and includes villains like Ultron, Graviton, Nefaria, The Grim Reaper and The Lethal Legion. Plus The Champions and The Guardians of the Galaxy. For me, this was when The Avengers were at the peak of their game. And with artwork from the magnificent George Perez himself who could ask for more at such a good price. Buy it!

Good value pocketbook presentation: its a classic story, and great to be able to re-read the old 1970s and 1980s Marvel classics. In many ways its a tragic story as Ultron the villain, ultimately fails in his objective to find a robotic spouse, but its well told and drawn.
