I took a while to set it up and In the end I found my problem was not with it but with the pairing protocol for my Bose QC35 headphones.On my 2nd use it seemed it didn't reconnect automatically either.
So to save other Bose owners the same hassle this is the best method - set the headphones to pairing mode then turn on the Avantree to its blue and red flashing light pairing mode.You will hear it named as 'CSR dongle'
The days of connecting up trailing audio cables to my LGTV headphone jack are over.The device is very compact and for both my TV's and my Pure Connect radio the headphone + USB power cables supplied are of good length.
The range is excellent so no more pausing live TV if I need to pop in another room,similarly the advertised low latency is fantastic.I've yet to test the dual bluetoothing ability but expect it will work well.
Overall very impressed and happy to have paid a bit extra, compared to other options, to get this quality of connection and reliability.
Strongly advise to ignore the negative 1 star brigade reviewers who don't bother to take the help offered by Aventree yet downvote them.A company this helpful and who even replace faulty devices should be applauded. I am happy to have found this wonderful little gem ☺
October 2019 update.The device has become very unstable.Automatic pairing with my headphones is failing every few days.The multifunction button to re-pair devices gets stuck as well.Very frustrating to have to spend up to 20 mins to resolve this onlh for it to drop out agsjn a few days later.Dropped to 4 star rating now.
