As a thing, this is a very beautiful book and it would easily deserve five stars or even more. BUT the text is disgustingly silly and as such an awful desappointment. I wouldn't recommend this book even for American teenagers, and still less for readers fond of Jane Austen's novels. The book has nothing of the fine thinking and subtle feeling of this marvellous writer, only useless gossiping. It is obviously not enough to be Jane Austen's grand x 5 niece to be a good writer. The publisher should get caned.
