    Light weight magnifying sheet that is ideal for A4 or any sized document you wish to study/read.
    I bought 2 , as they are so reasonably priced for what they can offer you. My mother needed some form of reading aid after recently having cataracts removed from both eyes. Especially whilst waiting for her sight test for reading glasses. She can now read her books and complete her crosswords easily enough, making life a lot easier.
    The magnifier can sit on the page and that alone works or it can be held closer to your face for an even larger effect.
    Simple, but a great help when you cannot see the small print . Well done seller..!!

    I have no idea what I expected for the price, but it wasn't this. It's plastic, so really doesn't work well as a magnifier, I gave it several days, trying it out on various items, to see if reading was improved.
    It wasn't.
    You need to hold it at the correct distance to ensure visibility but the plastic reflects a kind of swirly rainbow effect which detracts from its ability to help you read.
    After a week of trying to get some use out of it, I popped it in the bin.
    I accepted I was never going to use it, don't understand the good reviews at all.
    Very disappointed and surprised the company gets away with it.
    For the price, I didn't expect It to be especially good but surely it's not unreasonable to expect it to be of use in some way.

    Bought for my mum whose close-up eyesight is no longer good enough to read bills (it happens to all of us from about 40 onwards!).
    Note that the magnifier magnifies best from one direction, and the magnifier doesn't make this obvious enough for someone like my mum whose vision struggles... so if you are buying for an older relative, tipex a dot on the side that should be 'up'.

    But for the money, this is a good buy, perfect for its intended purpose, and *far* better than a traditional magnifying glass for reading a page of text.

    At this very reasonable price, it seems churlish to point out the unavoidable fact that the magnifier is not A4, but a bit smaller in both height and width. I admit it was probably not realistic of me to think that it might be placed in front of a laptop screen to make the entire screen more readable. Silly me--I had also not realised that the magnifier was intended to be held a few inches away from the matter being viewed. But at this price I am not dreadfully disappointed. Delivery was very swift. I ordered one as a gift for a friend at the same time as ordering one for myself, and he was amused that the envelope had a prominent message: "Articles for the blind." I don't know what our respective posties thought!
