Thought I'd treat myself and end the colleague envy of seeing fellow teachers at school effortlessly moving on their Powerpoint slides from the opposite side of the classroom. Does the job fine. You just take the little USB slot thingy out from its hidey-hole in the end of the clicker and pop that in the USB slot. It installed the necessary drivers in less than a minute on my home Samsung laptop and on the school HP laptop and all working fine.
It has shortcut buttons to start and stop the powerpoint, skip between programmes and one to go back to the start of the slideshow. The laser pointer works well across the classroom as well, though obviously in a school lasers are banned, so the one time I did accidentally press the laser button instead of the button to move the slide on, it caused uproar with the kids as they tried to work out who had the laser pen!
The object is very small and easily fits into the pocket, which is perfect. Battery that was supplied has lasted with admittedly very light use for a couple of months so far (I always take the battery out when I'm not using it, and store it in the handy pouch inside the case that comes with it. Can't really fault it!

This is a really neat, simple to use, light and functional device. It will only control various 'presentation' software out of the box, but if you use a free program called AutoHotkey, you can map the buttons to perform almost any function, including controlling Media Player, or many other common PC functions that might be useful remotely.

This is a nice white presenter that works with a Mac without any issues. You just need to get used to its buttons. Next slide is the bottom button with "v" symbol and go-to-previous-slide is the top button with symbol of "^". This button ">" is black screen and the left arrow "<" starts or stop presentation.

No drivers needed on a Mac. I run Mavericks by the way.

As a tutor I find the use of demonstrations and presentations on a big screen to be indispensable in the classroom. However using presentations becomes very impersonal if you're stuck at the computer constantly hitting keys to move it along.

With this amazing little device you can now interact more with your students and move around the classroom as you teach. The device itself is quite small but rests comfortably in your hand. It comes with back and forward buttons as well as a button to pause the slideshow (which turns the screen blank) and one to play it. There is a stop button which ends the show all together and then a button to switch between open windows on your computer (basically the same as pressing ALT+TAB) if you have multiple slideshows, videos or images you wish to present. The laser pointer is quite nice and works over long distances but has a very small area and can be quite difficult to spot at first.

I have been using this device for almost 2 months now every other day and the battery has yet to be replaced. When it does need replacing you will be looking at a CR2032 battery which is easily accessible through the back. It comes in a nifty little leather case that does seem a bit overly big for the device but could also be used to hold other items, and also has a pouch for storing spare batteries.

Overall this is well worth the price and you won't be disappointed!

This is a small, low cost, high quality presenter with a good wireless range. The laser pointer is good too. Comes in a good case too! Well worth the money. I'm very pleased with it!

Good bluetooth presenter. Does everything I need when running through PowerPoint in the classroom. I'm pretty sure this will work under Mac OS X for Keynote as well but haven't tried it yet.

It has buttons for forward, back, ALT+TAB, stop and play. The ALT+TAB button is very useful and the built-in laser pointer is bright and accurate. It is thin and light and easily slips into a pocket without weighing you down (like the Kensington ones do).

It has a small bluetooth USB receiver that neatly slides in and out of the bottom of the presenter. No drivers are needed to be installed under Windows -- just plug and go. This makes it a good choice for a supply teacher or visiting trainer/presenter who might not have admin rights to install software.

The case it comes in is a nice touch but maybe unnecessary for some as it it quite bulky (but it does have room for storing bits like batteries in there).

Downside: the battery cover comes off way too easily -- like if you drop the presenter or occasionally even when I'm using it normally, it comes open in my hand.

Overall: I wish I'd got this instead of the Kennsington presenter that got pinched out of my classroom after a month!

I bought this for work because of its slim size. I travel to a lot of meetings, and wanted a presenter handy in my bag at all time. It is slim and looks pretty good, but also has a light and plastic-y feel to it.

It worked when I received it, but my Macbook was only able to identify it after some wiggling. When i took it out for a presentation some time later, it didn't work at all. Simply poor quality, I guess. Should have bought something from a slightly higher price bracket.
