The most important thing about this box is that it passes the sound through with no noticeable loss of quality. It does the job perfectly and if you need a manual 4-way switcher in this form factor then you'll be happy.
The only reason that this isn't a five star review is that the build quality feels a bit cheap. I also bought the HQ 3-way switch box on Amazon, it looks almost identical but the build quality is superior. It has higher quality sockets, a much nicer switch, and a heavier steel case with a better paint finish. That's not to say that this 4-way is poor quality because it's not, it's just that it feels a bit budget compared to the HQ box. It's light enough that the RCA cables can lift the front of the box up, the sockets themselves are a bit cheap and the paint job and markings look a bit naff.
However, it works perfectly and really that's what should matter, especially in such a basic device. There's no loss of sound quality or volume through the connections and no bleeding between the sources. If they'd used a higher quality case and nicer components it'd be five stars, but I just can't give it full marks after having compared it to the cheaper HQ box. I'd say that if you don't need four inputs/outputs then save a few quid and buy the nicer one.
