This album has got to be the greatest punk compilations ever with some of the best bands since the Clash. All of the musical skill of FAT MUSIC but with slightly less annoying voices.
A MUST for all modern punk fans.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great! 28 July 2005

Punk is one of those words the means something pretty specific now - bratty guys with tattoos and playing power chords bitchin' about stuff. But, in 1979, punk could apply to everyone - from the Sex Pistols to Joy Division to the Talking Heads. This is a great compilation with vital music from the era that isn't really ultra punky. The music is smart, inventive, fast, herky jerky and fun. There are even some very pretty vocal performances from the Chefs. Fans of the TV Personalities and Desperate Bicycles will love this. Great stuff!
4.0 out of 5 stars Soooooooooooo good, but... 11 April 2007

I know that Attrix records put out much more than appears on this CD. I am just being picky though as I enjoy almost every song on this, especially the Chefs.

Attrix don't appear on this, and thats just wrong as they were the band the label is named after.

Also, it's a slim offering at 19 songs. I have other comps in these series that have upwards to 26 songs.
