How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

I've been building Pc's since I was a child in the 90's. This is a terrible peice of hardware. I bought this as it stipulated ryzen zen 2 compatible, and it is. Barely, memory rated at 3600Mhz runs at 2133mhz and fails to boot at any faster. (I've tried three vendors). The screws don't fit any of my cases properly, also came with no screws (not an issue but still worthy of mention). Never used asrock kit before. Never again. Much better boards for the money. Avoid

I used this mobo in my first PC build from scratch. All worked pretty well. Easy BIOs update via asrock.com website. The mechanical drawing of the motherboard in the manual is a bit tiny and has some hard to see letters (grey on white)- so find your reading glasses before you start ;), further I needed a bit to figure out which slots would be the best for two 16 GB ddr4 ram modules, maybe asrock should give some examples in the manual. Overall an awesome mobo with tons of features.

Fantastic motherboard. Very good debug, as I had to use it due to faulty ram sticks

TOP 1000 REVIEWER
Style Name: Master SLI.
The short version - great value, features, performance and outstanding stability.
I got this motherboard from a high street shop as part of a PC upgrade. I was looking to replace my creaking 8 year old PC with either a new off the shelf PC, or new components for an upgrade, with reuse of case, power supply, video card & Blu-ray drive. I chose the spec of the PC I wanted from a large nationwide electrical retailer, but did not want to pay the £1249 they wanted. I went into a local PC shop with that spec and said what I wanted. He put together an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, 32GB RAM and this motherboard for about 30% of the cost of the new PC. I got an SSD drive and an M2 drive from Amazon and the resultant computer has been excellent. It is certainly fast and pushes games around well, but the aspect I have been most impressed with, is the stability. 6 weeks of heavy use and no slow-downs, no crashes, nothing - just perfect performance. I had never used Asrock before, always favouring Asus previously, but the shop keeper told me they are all made with the same components these days and he uses this board because he never gets returns with it and they are very stable. It does come with utilities to overclock it, but I have not needed to do this, as it plays all the games I have at full settings on the default bios settings.
