This is one of those books where the person knows a fair amount about the subject but not enough to really understand the condition. She makes a lot of assumptions and though it is obvious she has done some reading and research she has made some fairly damning statements such as people with Asperger's have OCD. This is not a condition of Asperger's though some people with Asperger's have it as do 'normal' people. It is not bad for a free book but do not take it as gospel.

As an asperger parent of a teen girl entering exams, boyfriends, pressures and becoming an adult I felt the last chapter was the only part in the book that was relevant and I wanted more like that. Most aspie parents know about the diagnosis and difficulties. I was looking for wise and in depth words on how to help my daughter but it was more of a 'dummies guide to aspergers'.

An interesting read on asperger syndrome. Everything you need to know about it, it's in here. Quite liked chapter five and the coping strategies, as it's something that can help a person, and i would recommend you read this to expand your knowledge on asperger.

For myself it didn't really give me any new information but for those starting on their road to understanding it would be a great starting point. Definitely worth the pennies and the read.
