If you are on the run and want the rules and some nice "touches" on how to dress, The Style Bible is the book for you. The information is presented clearly, without chitchat - all you need to know in order to look nice and properly dressed for each occasion. The quality of the paper may give you the impression of a cheap book, but then again the content of this book is just the tip of the iceberg on male fashion and dressing "know-how". For beginners this book is a must.

To further extend your horizons on this subject I recommend "Gentleman - A Timeless Guide to Fashion" by Bernhard Roetzel or try "Dressing the Man" by Alan Flusser

All the best,

T.

Absolutley fantastic book, great value for money and an extremely simple read. All the information is laid out in good order and straight to the point with pictures when needed. This book tells you all the basics of how a man should dress, from how your clothes should fit,how much you should be paying for certain items, matching colours, how to identify classic shapes and styles, also features a chapter on grooming. To the young man it is the style bible it claims to be. To the more experianced gent,it is a must have for reference purposes, especially due to the simple direct nature the information is given. 10/10

I bought this book as I was in need of a wardrobe revamp but found it disapointing. it covers things that are mostly just common sense. The things i dint know i didnt really need to know. Lots of it is pointing out the obvious and even the good sections are to generalised. The book is printed on cheap paper so is not really a keeper. Also as it is an american book it didnt strike a chord with me. useful maybe if you have just arrived from another planet or are just starting out. Sorry to be negative.
