A narrow body and fast neck make the SL29/12 an ideal choice for those players who find most 12 strings too big and bulky. A stunning rich tobacco sunburst finish makes this slim-line masterpiece an even more attractive option.

I loved the look, design, electric-style neck and light-weight profile of this, since I'd been playing a massive heavy DEAN 12-string that was like a piece of furniture. I have encroaching arthritis, which affects my hands, so I thought I'd take a punt on this little guitar.
It arrived in a flimsy cardboard box, like the first £20 guitar I'd got from a catalog forty years ago. Not even sealed, and I was like 'wtf?'.
However when I opened it I loved the look and lightweight feel of it. The strings already on it are a little too heavy gauge, but I did tune it up somewhat to hear it's 'tone'. But now here is the bad news:
Maybe I was unlucky, I don't know, but it didn't match the description for one thing - no XLR output. The built-in tuner did NOTHING. ( Maybe the battery was dead - who knows ), but the thing that really angered me was the bridge. Whatever kind of cheap and nasty bridge was on it I do not know, but the spacing of the strings was outrageously bad. Unplayable once you got past fret two.
I would have needed to replace the strings, the bridge, and set it all up totally, but, with no promised XLR socket, a non-functioning tuner, the pleasure of receiving this slim, light-weight and good-looking little guitar just wore right off. I really thought - it isn't worth it for the price to have to do all that work. I found a lovely British-Made 12-String of quality, the same specs for £100 more. You get what you pay for.
I packed it lovingly to return than it had arrived, sealing the box with some tape. I had to take it to the Post Office after printing the return label and it actually cost me fifteen pounds to return. The postal coverage wasn't nearly adequate, so I was a tenner out of pocket. Very disappointing indeed.
I sent both the guitars back to find out that i had to pay £30 to send them back! As well as all this the guitars are not like the picture, the tuner is not included and the xlr input isn't either and the strings break easily.
Im hugely disappointed and will not recommend this as you don't want to risk getting a damaged guitar. If you got this i would recommend to get the strings replaced because they are awful.
I do not play that much, so I did not want to spend a fortune, I have always wanted a 12 string to get that LedZep/Eagles sound - and must say I am not disappointed
I like the acoustic / electric flexibility, the acoustic sound is more than adequate, but of course a compromise compared to a full size acoustic, and it sounds great through the amp. It is a very comfortable size to play and to store.
I had an initial glitch with the in-built tuner - low battery warning, checked the battery - it was fine, re-installed it and so far it has been working - ref review from mark gilligan. Just for info - I found an excellent iPhone/Android/Tablet tuner which I can highly recommend - Peterson iStrobosoft Tuner.
The finish is a little plastic and the frets ends were a little rough, but it looks good and for the price I believe it is excellent value.
So far very satisfied - so 5 starts from me !
The truss rod needed about half a turn anticlockwise to get rid of 1st-3rd position buzzes, but once fettled and re-tuned (the built-in tuner is so easy to use) sounds great and with a really good action. I've not had a chance to put it through an amp yet, but I'm confident it will sound great.
The finish is excellent, the neck is good, the finish on the frets is good and the tuners are smooth - can't fault this baby - definitely a 5-star purchase
