Cassie Campbell doesn't have any memories before she was seven. However, things just haven't been normal since her adoption. Cassie hates being in large crowds of people, she can feel their thoughts that cause severe panic attacks. That is, until she meets William Stuart. Suddenly her world is nothing and everything but Will Stuart.

Together the pair unlock the secrets of Cassie's past. Will didn't meet Cassie by chance but has been patiently waiting for the right time to re-enter her life. As she comes to terms with her past alongside her future, her strength will be tested. The only thing she knows for certain is that her life is Will Stuart and nothing can go on without him.

UGH. That is pretty much the basis of my review. What a letdown from Amazon Prime. I am kicking myself for not doing further research in regards to how this is published. (it's self-published by Amazon) I should have known better and this was one of the most painful books I have ever read.

This is basically a knockoff of Twilight but for the Christian market (Twilight is written by a Mormon and her characters do reflect this if one reads closely enough). The writing is extremely poor, so much so that multiple sentences are constantly repeated right after each other. Although Cassie is seventeen there is a lot of SAT vocabulary mixed into the fiction and I found this as a poor choice for the Young Adult market. Cassie is also a weak character that is only concerned with her love for Will, ignoring her adoptive parents in the process.

The couple are also completely obsessed with having sex with each other, but must refrain for `God'. Not only do I find this as such an un-Christian aspect but Cassie also attempts to commit suicide, which is never ok in the faith.

I loved this book and highly recommend it to other reader and I totally disagree to the other review this is nothing like twilight I love everything about it the storyline the characters and just the feeling of it the only time I put it down was either when my kindle was nearly dead or I had to do something urgent the thing I would Change would be to have more of a relieving end I don't know how to describe what I would rather have but I would say the ending is slightly a let down but other than I I loved every moment of it

HASH(0x93becb70) out of 5 stars Buck up, little camper. 13 Jan. 2013

I will agree with the other reviews, the book is clean and well written. Will is an absolute angel, and the rest of the Stuart family are truly spiritual pillars. Cassie...I spent more than half the book wanting to smack her. I feel sorry for Will that he is saddled with such an emotional basket case. Someone who has had no choice but to experience the emotions of everyone around her should seriously have better coping skills, and maybe even a deeper understanding of what she is feeling. I understand the author making her go off the deep end just to show the process of gaining personal insight and finally achieving some growth, but it became highly aggravating near the end. Honestly, she needs to gain a backbone and some courage. Poor Will. He's perfect as a knight in shining armor, but DANG, it would be nice if Cassie would fight to stand on her own two feet. At this point, I'm not sure if I'll take the chance on the second book. I don't think I can hang on for another whole book of Cassie and her emotional disability.

HASH(0x9408424c) out of 5 stars Insecure main character 21 Jan. 2013
By Harley DeLeon - Published on Amazon.com

I had a hard time getting through this book, the story had a tendency to be drug out, I loved Will but Cassie was so insecure and constantly victimizing herself and as opposed to feeling for her and her situation I found her annoying. Will on the other hand was endearing, kind, and logical. After Cassie regains her memory she becomes more secure in herself but she still tends to whine and that's where the book REALLY tend to drag. I couldn't enjoy the first half of the book because of Cassie's constant "I'm not good enough attitude" then I couldn't enjoy the last half of the book because of the dragged out story. As an overall it isn't a book I would recommend to anyone.

HASH(0x94084150) out of 5 stars Refreshing 9 Jan. 2013

I generally do not read love stories. However, I could not put this book down. The character development is wonderful; they felt like people I know, facing real-life problems of love and loss, sacrifice and triumph.

This book is noticeably, and delightfully, lacking the stereotypical tawdry treatise of fornication and adultery. The characters experience the typical temptations but chose the moral highroad. There are NO bad words!

I would recommend this book to the most conservative and sensitive friend without a second thought of possible offense or embarrassment. This book is worthy of any library.

I cannot wait to read future books from this author.

HASH(0x950a12dc) out of 5 stars Well worth it! 9 Jan. 2013

I was a little skeptical at first when I got this book because there were no reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. I loved this book and the interactions between the main characters was great. It reminded me of the " significance" series, in the way they were in each others head. And you really can't beat the price! I stayed up until two in the morning to finish it and am eagerly awaiting the next book. It was also pretty clean to read, which I appreciate. I do not enjoy getting into a book and midway through it turns graphic and I have to delete it.

HASH(0x941f8f18) out of 5 stars Don't buy this if you want clean reading 2 Sept. 2013

Too sexually oriented with deep kissing, etc. I thought because it was reviewed in the Desert News that it would be less suggestive and have a good story plot.
