Re-reading this extraordinary book years after my own struggle with annorexia, I am reminded of the outstanding intelligence and erudition of this work which is an unsung masterpiece. I cannot recommend the book highly enough-there is more wisdom and understanding here than I encountered from any leading consultant. Thoughtful, brilliant, and totally extraordinary in its insights..and often deeply prescient. thank you so much Sheila MacLeod..this should be compulsory reading for every professional working with annorexics. I cannot express how much I admire this work.
