Sono presenti anche alcuni brevi fumetti usciti su quotidiani, fanzine o pubblicazioni indie non reperibili da nessuna parte essendo molto ma molto rari.
What I appreciated most about Phillips is that he isn't trying to charm you with bells and whistles, or sell you a well manicured piece of fluff. Even though Phillips can do an extremely beautiful style at times, his drawings always have a grip of truth, even when within the fantasy of a given story. The expression of his characters aren't trying to seduce you as much as telling you exactly what they are, and that's what makes his work a treasure that will go down in comic book history.
This book is not only an interesting read, it's an interesting study manual covering the evolution of Phillips as an artist and the various projects he has worked on. I recommend it wholeheartedly as no great comic book collection is complete without it.
