If you like unique slide guitar in any form, this is the album for you. Sam Mitchell covers classic blues tracks with his crying slide guitar. The slide guitar is the main instrument, sometimes alone, sometimes with a backing group. A blues man more to the bone you would be hard pressed to find, and it's all on this album.

That Sam Mitchell didn't get the degree of recognition afforded to other less able players is a great shame. A great blues player with an impressive CV, but far too few releases in his own name still available. This album is a must for all blues fans and is indispensable for aspiring slide players. It really doesn't get better than this.
