What Other Items Do Customers Buy After Viewing This Item?
All 13 episodes of the anime following the adventures of a pair of high school students who take a class that trains them to become Butei, armed mercenaries who are permitted to capture criminals. While Aria Holmes Kanzaki (voice of Rie Kugimiya) seems a natural gunslinger, her classmate Kinji Toyama (Junji Majima) is hopeless to say the least - that is, until he discovers a surprising key to success. The episodes are: 'The Girl', 'Aria the Quadra', 'First Mission', 'Butei Killer', 'Butei Charter, Article 1', 'Maiden of the Hotogi Shrine', 'Caged Bird', 'Durandal', 'Honey Trap', 'Special Training', 'Infiltration', 'Vlad' and 'Butei's Going On a Hot Spring Training Camp'.

This two disc set includes all twelve episodes of the 'Aria the Scarlet Ammo' anime along with the bonus thirteenth episode. The series is somewhat entertaining, despite being somewhat generic in places, and has some reasonably nice ideas and some good action throughout. The series is split into three arcs (the Butei Killer arc, the Durandal arc and the Vlad arc) and I will say that while they are all reasonably good, the first is easily the best while the third is probably the weakest. While the characters in the series are also, unfortunately, somewhat generic (especially Aria who is something of a typical short Tsundere) but many of them are still interesting and my favourite is easily Reki (who has been described as Yuki Nagato with a sniper rifle).
The animation of the series is reasonably good. The English dub is also reasonable nice with Todd Haberkorn being very good as Kinji while Leah Clark and Luci Christian are very good as Aria and Riko respectively. The Japanese version of the soundtrack is also included of course and I would say both versions are around equal.
Overall I would say that this series is reasonably entertaining and probably worth four stars even if it just scrapes a four.
I was not disapionted made by the same people who did Toradora nd Shakugan no Shana.Aria H Konzaki is a petite high school girl who just happens to be descended from Sherlock Holmes. In fact this is a trend through out this anime as most of the characters are descendents of famous historical characters but that does not mean it is boaring. It has a lot of comedy moments and some serious moments but the story is never dull.If you have seen Toradora and Shakugan no Shana give this a go you may like this also.
