I have been looking for a small cordless kettle for my bedside cabinet for a considerable time. I didn't want to pay a ridiculous price, and needless to say I couldn't find one suitable. Until I came across this one. It does everything I want, and much more.
It will boil 500 ml of water, which is enough for two cups of tea or coffee - and it does this quickly and efficiently. It also has other temperature settings, which it will automatically maintain, although I haven't used these and probably won't.
The inside of the kettle is a stainless steel vessel, flat-bottomed, without a visible element, making it easy to clean and inevitably descale. The outside is an attractive white colour.
It bleeps as well. It bleeps when you put the kettle on the base. It bleeps when you press the button to boil it. And it bleeps when it boils. It also cuts out once it does. For those who know what I mean, it is satisfactorily Germanic in design and operation.
