My cat Arya, for a few months had a really bad period of scabby skin. After a lot of research, we concluded he could have been allergic to his food. So off I went to search from grain free food. Tried two different small branded grain free packs from a local pet store and could see a small difference in his skin but he did not seem as keen on eating the food. Looked on Amazon, and Arden Grange seemed to be decent priced and had good reviews, so I tried it out and I was happy with the results including Arya. His scabs started to disappear after a few weeks and he had no issues switching food and seemed to like the flavour. I had the Arden Grange food on monthly subscription but one month there was an issue and they couldn't send it out. I since then discovered Arden Grange grain free light which is better for Arya as the vet has recommended he should not put a lot of weight on due to a heart issue and he likes the 'light' version just as much.

    My cats have had an Arden Grange diet since we got them as kittens. They are both healthy and active and have always had coats that are commented on. They have never tired of the food and still look forward to it every day. Will continue to use as long as they live.

    Excellent quality food at a reasonable price what’s not to like except the funny smell. I have a snowshoe and a Bengal who eats everything and anything so she’s no judge. My snowshoe won’t eat anything but Arden grange dry food not even fresh fish or chicken no dreamiest nothing. I should offer him for an advertising campaign.I’m happy because it’s ingredients are better for my furries. I recommend this food often. Not pleased that Amazon have made it so I have to buy 2 bags whenever I order.
    I also use Arden grange dog food for my yorkies. They never leave anything in the dish. One of them as he’s got older has developed a very oily sensitive skin, we are changing to the sensitive option so fingers crossed along with his special shampoo we can get him back some comfort.

    We've tried like eight different brands looking for something that doesn't make our sensitive cat explode and this is the first product I've found that he seems to be doing well with! We tried the fish flavour first but he turned his nose up, so we got the chicken one and he's been eating it with his wet food for a week now with no tummy issues. It's not his favourite food, he's a picky b*stard and sulks about getting this instead of whiskers, but there was a few things he wouldn't touch at all so I am calling this a win.
    I really appreciate that you can get the small packs because it meant we could cheaply try out a small amount of food and if it hadn't worked or he hadn't liked it, there wouldn't have been too much waste.

    Really great product, bit pricy in the long run but worth it for the little guy to be happy and healthy.

    Gave him other brands, supermarket , go-cat, would look at me like I was stupid

    This one, defo more interest.. he hopped up and had a munch, bit more eaten than the usual biscuits but not quite sold yet - time will tell, could take a week or so.

    ** Update - he now doesnt eat unless these are in the bowl. So, i think its just a case of slowly weening your cat onto them bit by bit - if you come from wet food you may struggle, it may take ages. Hes already looking healthier and brighter eyed less grumpy and full of energy,

    I will return in future to these as the quality and content of them is very good, however I just picked up 3 big bags of an expensive 70% fish brand at sainsburys for a crazy 50p a bag clearance (should be £10.50 a bag) - so ill ween him again off these and onto that brand, then back to these in 3 months time.

    I wanted to switch my cats to grain free as I’d read it was better it was for them. This was the best quality I could afford, and actually isn’t THAT much more expensive than the whiskers biscuits I used to buy (worked out £1.50 more per kg)

    At first my cats were eating this like they had never seen food before... after a few weeks this settled down and are back to eating at a normal rate. But after a few weeks I have noticed an improvement in their fur which is an easy indicator that it’s doing them a lot of good. If your budget allows you to afford this biscuit I would highly recommended over ANY of the big brands you find in the supermarket.

    Unfortunately the only criticism I have is in the ordering as it’s a minimum 2 bag order. Finding somewhere to store them where the cats can’t tear through the bags when left alone is slightly problematic in my small home.... this could easily be solved when I can afford a bigger house, haha
