Although this plays in the world of Hawklan at least 15 years after "Arash-Felloren" is different than the last 5 books. This time the protagonist Atlon itself took part in the battle at the coast of Riddin ("Into Narsindal"). He belongs to the brotherhood of the Cadvanwr and is able to use the power. Atlon on one side and Imorren on the other side (female leader of the Kyrosdyn and powerfull figure in the city Arash-Felloren) are the initiators of the story. Taylor uses the opportunities this plot is offering splendid. Very good written are the scenes of the Loose Pit and the Building Jyolan itself. The slowly growing power of Pinnate the Annointed and the terrible Serwolf opening the ways of the dream worlds to unit the fragments of Sumeral is the highlight. The story is unpredictable, dramatic and unusual. The quality of writing is good, makes it equal to the "Dream-Finder". All together more than worth to read.
