Product description
Review
"The Arabesk trilogy is Grimwood at the top of his game, both in terms of quality of writing and entertainment. It¿s also probably more pertinent now, in its portrayal of an Islamic culture struggling to come to terms with the modern world, than when it was first published." (Steve Robinson DEATHRAY)
Book Description
'Among the very best of contemporary SF authors' Iain Banks

Great book have read and re-read it many times . This is my third copy as I've read previous copies to shreds, nice to have all three books in one volume. Surely due for a reprint.

Gripping from the off, this is the story of Raf, a man with an intelligent fox in his head (some of the time) and Hani, a young girl caught up in a web of intrigues and murders, in Alexandria. This in a world where WW1 did not happen and the influence of Britain and America is almost non-existent while the German secret services, the Tiergarten, operate in the shadows.

Top notch. Feels well researched and JCG's vision of an alternate timeline draws you in and give lead to thoughts of what might have been.

Fantastic series. Never wanted it to end.
VINE VOICE
Well to be honest what more can a reader ask for but to have the best of an author wrapped up in one massive compendium (the tales Pashazade, Effendi, Fellaheen). Not only does the reader get that in this volume but they're guaranteed a wonderfully complex tale interwoven within the pages that demonstrate exactly why JCG has been not only nominated for British Science Fiction Association and the Arthur C Clarke Award but won the BSFA for Fellaheen.
A cracking set that will guarantee a satisfied reader as well as a fairly quiet Christmas around the house. Wonderfully creative with cracking characters that the reader will care about the fates of. This demonstrates what is great in the science-fiction genre as well as delivers it all for one cracker smacking price. Great stuff.
