Aquaponics is a combination of hydroponics (growing plants with water instead of soil) and aquaculture (framing fish). The author provides an introductory summary to the topic, provides a list of both plants and fish that do best in aquaponics systems, as well as provides links to a variety of aquaponics systems on YouTube that show various aspects of how they work. A large portion of the book is dedicated to building your own hydroponics system. The content of the book is not unique, but it gave me a summary and useful links to do more research on my own.

I read this short book in about 20-30 minutes last night and was unimpressed. While the author seems to have done some research, it is very obvious to anyone who knows what they are doing that this author has more than likely never experimented with aquaponics, much less have any expertise to effectively write on the topic.
It is my assumption (yes, we know how that goes), that this author probably did a few hours of research to have just enough of a basic understanding to be able to throw words on a page. Spend the same time on Youtube or Google that you would reading this book and you will learn more than you could from purchase.
While I applaud the author for putting something together to help spread the word of a great way to become more sustained, this book simply is not worth the time to read. I hope the author does not take this to heart - there is just simply no value proposition in this material.
