Dr Lambs excentric but endearing character come through wonderfully in this great book. Without doubt, the finest review and summary of applied genetic techniques and applications. Strongly recomended for purchase.

Format: Hardcover
This book is evidently a work of love and it's significance as a contemporary text is perhaps not yet recognised.
Dr Lamb provides a broad exposition of applied genetics which is commendable although the presentation and nature of writing is a let down. Having said this, the care that has gone into the work is evident; not a single spelling or punctuation error and a well chosen, interesting and useful array of original colour plates complement the thoroughness of his work.
