Since digital photography became the norm I have used most of the software packages available. Each of these has had a steep learning curve and necessitated buying the supportive books or manuals.
The vast majority of these have left me more confused than I was before.
Apple Aperture 2; A workflow guide is completely different. In language that even I can understand the text carries you through the advantages of RAW files and a sequence of actions in addressing them that makes complete sense.
I cannot recommend this work highly enough.

I recently bought Aperture 2.11 very cheaply via Amazon and thought I would buy this to help me with the software. It is an excellent guide as far as I am concerned. I am also pleased that I was able to buy it at a very good price. Two fab products which are together helping me in my pursuit of creating better photos.

This book served it's purpose and provides plenty of information on the workings of Aperture 2. Quite technical though, and probably wouldn't be suitable for those that prefer "dummies guides" (like me!)

If you are trying to get to grips with Aperture 2, this book is an excellent investment. It is very detailed and methodical and explains the features and possibilities of the program well. Inevitably with something as powerful as Aperture 2 there is a lot to learn and I doubt if someone coming new to digital photography at this level could work it all out without a guide of this nature. You may well have spent a lot of money on a good camera; you have a professional level editing program on your computer. This book will help you really get your money's worth out of both.
