Product Description

Will Wallace, Dean Cain and Don Swayze star in this horror from director Daric Gates. When big city detective Michael (Wallace) relocates to the country with his wife Rachel (Emily Brooks) after the death of their young daughter, a job at the small sheriff's office holds the quiet life that he needs. However, on his first day in town Sheriff Hendricks (Swayze) informs him of an investigation into a missing teenage girl. When Michael discovers that the girl's boyfriend is currently living in a mental institution, his doctor (Dean Cain) suggests there may be evil spirits at play. Meanwhile, Rachel has nightmares about a bloodied child that leads her to the location of the missing girl. It is down to Michael to find out what's really going on in this sleepy town...

Dreadful. Poor acting and stilted, disjointed opening scenes which really detracted from any tension build up. In fact it was hard to follow the plot.
The first film in ages that we switched off due to appalling acting/directing/lack of substance.
Don't waste your time on this one.

Deputy Mike (Will Wallace) and his mousey wife Rachel (Emily Brooks) relocate to the small northern California town of Glenwood Bay following the tragic drowning of their daughter. Mike blames his wife who is currently off her meds. The town has a haunted house and now has a missing high school girl (Abigail Cooper) with a crazed boyfriend (Payton Wood) in custody. A small girl appears and people have hallucinations and appear possessed, etc. etc.

This is a faith based film, which I admit have come a long way from a modern Jesus in a restaurant. What they haven't yet conquered is writing convincing dialogue with actors who can deliver lines. The plot didn't develop a good twist and it was apparent with "natas" written at the top of a blood list, it was simply backwards writing. For some reason there are Christians who are obsessed with the idea of demonic backward masking. What was with the bar scene? How is it this northern town has a bar with people who have a southern rural accent?

Film is written, produced, directed, and edited by Daric Gates.

No f-bombs, sex, or nudity.

Possibly the worst acting I've seen since my 10 year olds Xmas play! Not worth the watch. Gutted I paid for it! Sure thumbs down!

Yeah this was okay, past an hour odd on a sunday, but I'd watched quite a few horrors that day so wasn't as scary as I thought it might be.

Didn't get more then 10 minutes into this - just not very good. Maybe it gets better further in - but I will never know.

Low budget nonsense. Silly possession movie, nothing original. Claims to be based on true events though I could find nothing to back that up. Waste if time watching this.
