Aponia night cream Sulphur has been developed especially for use on skin that does not tolerate certain ingredients. Precipitated sulphur (also called milk of sulphur or sulfur praecipitatum) has been used for many centuries in skincare products, yet it is hardly available these days, especially not without petroleum products or animal-based lanolin. Precipitated sulphur is a particularly fine variety of sulphur, produced from sulphur-containing salts. Here, it is combined with moisturising oils to balance its dry nature. The cream has only a subtle flavour of sulphur that is not covered by perfumes or essential oils. Contains no parabens, no perfumes, no fats based on mineral oil (like paraffin or petrolatum), no animal sourced ingredients (like lanolin, bees wax, or animal based emulsifiers), no polyethylenglycol (PEG) compounds (which are difficult for damaged skin), no citrus plant products, no ethanol, which has a widening effect on small blood vessels, no essential oils or plant extracts. _____ CONTAINS: spring water, apricot kernel oil, shea butter, zinc oxide, precipitated sulphur, vegetable-based emulsifiers, vegetable-based glycerine, vegetable-based cetyl alcohol, tocopherol (vitamin E), preservatives phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin (preservatives are required by law for hygienic safety). The manufacturer offers a full refund policy (one unit per customer), so you can test it without risk.

I mainly have red dry patches of skin on my cheeks, nose and forehead, and lots of small bumps (pustules) that makes it feel rough and hard to cover up with foundation without it being obvious, and I've always been worried that it's noticeable or that people will think I have acne.
ANYWAY, I bought this cream and started using it almost 3 weeks ago now, and used it as a night cream. It immediately worked and in a couple of days I had perfectly smooth skin! It's continued to improve and now my cheeks feel completely smooth. They are still slightly red, as rosacea cannot be completely cured, but it's so much easier to hide with a bit of foundation now, and it's nowhere near as red as it used to be.
I'm hoping that this cream will continue to keep my face smooth over time and not just be a temporary effect, as it has been the best way to manage my rosacea since it came up. There is a slight sulphuric smell but it's not too noticeable and it's completely worth it.
Update: A year on since I wrote this review and this product basically 'cured' my rosacea. I stopped using it months and months ago because I didn't need it anymore. Now that the summer has come round again I developed a tiny bit of bumpy red skin on my cheeks but I just went straight back to using this cream and it's already on the mend.
June 2014 update: this cream has also cured a longstanding fungal toe nail infection.
Update August 5, 2012: Fingers crossed, this cream combined with washing my face with the sulphur soap has given me the longest period of clear skin that I've had over the last 12 months or so. I only use the cream at night now as a maintenance treatment.
Inicially i was extremely disappointed at the size of the pot. Extremely tiny and looked to me more like a lip balm pot.
It is definitely over priced at 10 pounds. If it was 5 ppounds I'm sure many many more people would purchase this product. Including myself.
I have used it for 3 nights and so far my acne has cleared up a great deal.
It hasn't gone completely though i might add, but greatly reduced the redness. It seems to be very good at drying up spots over night.
Very similar to the effects of applying sudocrem and leaving it overnight which i usually do.
Pros: Quick, dries into the skin immediately, you cna layer it on depending how much you want to leave on overnight, it's not drying, it dries up spots and heals skin over night,it actually smells quite nice!
Non greasy, doesn't transfer to your pillow or leave an oily film on your face.
Cons: Greatly overpriced, extremely small ammount of product( I have now used my pot up, after 3 nights. 10 pounds just for 3 nights use ! )
Has a light smell to it, If you have dry skin it will be slightly drying. (i have normal/oily skin.)
So all in all, my pot has now run out after using it 3 times.
If the product was sold for cheaper i would buy it again, sadly it is not. Sudocrem does just as well as this night cream does and -
for a fraction of the price and about 10 times the ammount in the tub!
