Used this as a course book for a uni course on Apocalyptic Thought, haven't managed to get through it all yet as I've just been going for the bits that seemed relevant to my course but what I have read is extremely useful and easy to understand.

4.0 out of 5 stars An Apocalyptic Study 8 July 2013
By Jon B. - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
The book is great for those who want to study the Apocalypse in depth. I was a bit surprised as I had thought ti was going to be a picture book of Illuminations. My bad for not reading the blurbs thoroughly enough.

3.0 out of 5 stars A little boring 6 April 2012
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
There is certainly some great information in here, but the tone of the book is very academic/wordy and isn't really a page-turner. The book doesn't really flow perfectly from cover to cover and was boring for me, personally, but there definitely is plenty of good subject material inside.
