this is one of clints finest movies he's ever made
from the movie EVERY WHICH WAY BUT LOOSE (which is one of my personal favourites)comes the most action packed sequel which i could see over and over again
the movie centres around a retired bare-knuckled fighter who is blackmailed (by having his girlfriend kidnapped) into one last fight against a well known fighter.
along with his companions orville and his orangatang clyde
not only does he set out to get his girlfiend back and defeat this fighter in one of the most exciting fight scenes ever made
he also has to take on the "deadly but laughable" black widow biker gang once again..who he humilliated in the first movie (they are so funny in these movies)
this movie will not just make you laugh your head off..but i guarantee you will not be disappointed
if only there was more sequels to this movie... :(

Clint and Clyde have done it again, with this suburb second outing of the dynamic duo. The first movie was funny enough, but the wise cracks in this second instalment of the orang-utan mayhem will have you falling out of your seat, definitely worth a watch.

SO, I LIKE CLINT!!! THE GUY IS A LIVING LEGEND. AND, TO SWITCH FROM "EIGER SANCTION" TO "DIRTY HARRY "TO WORKING, AFFECTIONATELY, WITH "CLYDE" ( THE ORANGUTANG ), ONLY ADDS TO THE MAN'S GENIUS . THE STORYLINE IS IRRELEVANT. THE FILM IS A FINE COMEDY. BUY IT, AND "PASS IT ON." IT'S TIMELESS!!!

Sadly this film doesn't live up to the original film. The stars are there in fine form from their original roles, but even they can't keep up with the disjointed plot and very flat character development. Not even Clyde the orang-utan is used to great effect, except for the new development of him punching people from the passenger side window on command.

It slowly descends into a manic, mad-cap film the likes that would suit Burt Reynolds and Dom DeLuise in 'The Cannonball Run'. Eastwood can do comedy, but when he's not on screen, the host of characters are too dumb to take seriously unlike the first film. Eastwood and his co-stars play well on screen and are entertaining to watch, but it's the narrative that drags them down.

It's very simple, but very daft and cluttered and just descends into chaos towards the end. It is one of the sequels out there you don't really need to see.

Philo Beddoe, the easygoing truck driver and bare-knuckle brawler, and his 165-pound orangutan pal Clyde get into more mischief in this faster and funnier sequel to Every Which Way But Loose, Clint Eastwood is Philo, hoping to "retire" from fighting. But a new contender lures him back - and mobsters kidnap Philo's girl (Sondra Locke) to ensure he'll turn up for the showdown. Ruth Gordon as Ma, Geoffrey Lewis as Orville and those hapless motorcycle morons called the Black Widows all return in fine form. Songs by Glen Campbell, Jim Stafford and Snuff Garrett make up a tuneful country score, including an Eastwood/Ray Charles duet on Beers to You. As ever, Clyde steals the show, especially in a courtship scene with the lady orangutan of his dreams. Any Which Way You Can, you'll be entertained.
