About the Author

Antony Worrall Thompson is one of Britain's best loved chefs and a father of four. Antony has written numerous bestselling books, including Real Family Food and Fast Family Food for Mitchell Beazley. He lives near Henley on Thames with his wife and two of his children.

I've always liked AWT and his style of cooking. This book is, as far as I'm concerned is a must for the kitchen cook book shelf. have tried the Lamb Rogan Josh, absolutely delightful but had to put a second can of tomatoes in as the meat was not covered. Just added a few more spices, it was great. Just reading the book got my taste buds working.

Very well written book by Antony Worrall Thompson. Recipes are written in plain simple English with great pictures of the food. The recipes use everyday ingredients so you aren't searching around the specialised isles searching for fancy ingredients. This book is brilliant and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

AWT's book is fuss and frills free, the book is well thought out and covers a nice range of goodies to prepare and eat. Just follow the instructions! Thats all you need to do. I concur with the last reviewer the Rogan Josh was yum yum, need I say more?

Bought this as an Xmas present for my daughter. She doesn't particularly enjoy cooking and is fed up making her usual staples of stir fries and salads! Thought this might encourage to get more adventurous in the shortest possible time.
