Sleek and stylish design
The Marcus Siro range from Antler offers the best in minimal British design. Refined and classy, it comes in vivid and dark colors that make your luggage stand out from other soft shell suitcases when you’re on your travels.
Strong and lightweight
We’ve created our Marcus Siro suitcases out of tough and durable polyester that’s resistant to tears and scratches. The soft shell means your luggage is super-lightweight, so you’ll have no difficulty getting around.
Four spinning wheels at the base provide 360° manoeuvrability on all surfaces. Strong handles on two sides that are easy on your hands make lifting simple. There’s also a locking trolley handle for different heights with a branded push button so you can click and go. On the inside, additional pockets and compression straps provide secure packing. Last but not least, we’ve incorporated an in-built TSA-approved combination lock for extra security when travelling.

So, after reading of reviews and checking some in-store etc, I settled on 'reputable' UK brand Antler.
The first one arrived two days before my next travel date - but looked like a customer return - had scratches, stains and a scuff mark - so back it went. Amazon was great in arranging the return - no fuss - but I had the hassle of asking a family member to drop off the large box at the local return drop off point.
The 2nd one arrived the evening before my trip - and the condition seemed new. However, it seemed smaller than a supposedly same sized Samsonite case I had seen in store. Checking the product tag and the box confirmed that it is indeed 5 cm narrower and 5l smaller in capacity than the advertised details. The Amazon page states the Marcus Siro Cabin S size is 55 x 40 x 20 cm and 37 litres. However, what I received is a Marcus 2 which is only 55x35x20cm and 32l capacity.
So, I will be using this for my next trip but if I find the size a tad too small I will be sending it back used- item not as described - as suggested by the Amazon rep.
Shame really cos it looks like a well built, decent quality case - with decent sized front pockets, smooth zip and chunky soft padded handle on top. The built-in lock seems to work well and has additional loops so you can fit your own lock if you prefer.
And I really like the bright blue colour - easy to spot amongst the dull blacks and dark blues.
I used this for a 4-day trip and found it an easy to manoeuvre and relatively light suitcase. However, the size was a bit too small - had it been the stated size of 37l rather than the actual 32l then I would have kept it. The Amazon rep I spoke to was really helpful and agreed that since the listing was in error, I could send it back if I found it too small.
I paid some extra and ordered the Samsonite Spark SNG - which seems even better (albeit a bit dull looking) and definitely the correct size.
UPDATE last week spotted a gate agent eyeing up my bag in Geneva, sure enough he came over and asked me to put it in the measuring rack, it slid straight in. Result, best bag ever
