I have read other books by this author and liked them. However 40% into the book it ends and then launched into a previous book that I've already read. I'm sorry the story was good but I didn't expect to pay full price for less than half a book. I wish some of the other reviews had highlighted this as the next part is due in May for more money. I understand this is not the only author doing this and trust me I won't be buying any other books, that are not honest in the first place. If knew in advance different story as I have read books that are genuinely sold as numerous parts to a story.
Beware authors do not underestimate your readers, you will sell less books and lose fans of your work.

Anti romance finished at 13%, the next page advertises the sequel "Pro-love", and then we get five, apparently bestselling bonus stories. This isn't terrible, I wouldn't mind it- were it not for the fact that Anti-Romance didn't actually finish. There was a cliff hanger, not a huge one and not enough to have me read the second book. But that's my opinion, I'll let you decide for yourself: Laney is a young woman with daddy issues, who doesn't believe in love. She's cynical, and spends her days writing a blog to prove that romance doesn't exist. With the guys she meets, her life's work couldn't be easier. That's until, she suffers a huge heartbreak which has her falling into the arms of her neighbour, Kade. He's hot, and charming and has her thinking that her blog might be nearing its end- this is within minutes of their first date. Talk about a whirlwind romance! Wait, I thought she didn't believe in romance? Ugh-who knows, or cares?

You see, Laney Hill is a self-absorbed idiot, she strings men around and then writes about them when the relationship ends. A Taylor Swift copy-cat? Believe me, I'd say the same were she a male character. And I have nothing against Taylor, her music is good- but Laney is not Taylor. And why would she go out of her way to prove to the world that romance is dead- if she believes it, so be it. But, she's obviously unstable- I have no idea what she believes by the end. Anyway, on with the story, she has a bunch of friends who care for her- her best friend, George, is a hell of a man. He declared his undying love for her- and informed her that he had been in love with her for over two years. She gets mad, says he's deceived her- he tells her it was because he was afraid of her and the loss of their friendship. Who wouldn't be afraid?

Good story BUT this is only part one. It doesn't say anywhere on Amazon that this is a multi-part story, and I don't mind reading multi-part novels but I do like to know in advance so that I can be prepared for the additional expense. I also don't really like reading a multi-part story if the subsequent parts haven't been released yet.

This is a very quick and easy read (took a couple of evenings) and I did enjoy the characters and plot, I was just disappointed that it ended so abruptly and without warning and the next book isn't yet available. It's worth reading but it's very short so I would recommend waiting until all parts have been released.

I love a book that hooks you right from the start and the opening lines of this book definitely does that. Laney a blog writer about her terrible relationships can't really find the right guy enter Kade the musician and George the best friend who has loved her for 2 years. After the last relationship ended with an STI thanks to Rick aka Dick Little Laney's on a downer. This book has it all secret love from the best friend maybe new love from the neighbour and War with dick little oh and let's not forget the wedding. I can't wait for the next book and I'm hoping it's going to be more explosive than the first.

I love Cassia Leo, she gave us the very emotionally charged (Shattered Hearts) series which I will never forget and the brilliant (The Story of Us) series and in between all of that we had (Black Box) that's what I know her for but this.. Anti-Romance is surprisingly different And I absolutely loved it.!
You are completely hooked from the first page, it's a very witty read, Laney has a great personality, she's funny and full of attitude and Rick, George and Kade.. what can I say for reasons good or bad you instantly connect with their character it's really addictive.
There's a lot going on and the storyline keeps you well intrigued, you have to wonder where and how each character will fit in, they all play a very important part and just when you think you might know where it's all going.. You don't! Laney gets herself in a right mess, personally and professionally her reputation's about to go down the drain!
I can't believe how it ended, we've been left dangling, how the hell is she going to get out of this one, I'm waiting with bated breath!
Please hurry with the next instalment Cassia!!

Absolutely loved this book! I did not want to put my kindle down. Great story. I enjoyed Laneys pessimistic attitude and approach to dating. Was gutted to finish and ending with quite the cliff hanger but very pleased that there will be another book to follow this one up and I can't wait to see the story unfold. Also awesome cover!!
