This has to be one of the best albums of the 1970s which nearly escaped my attention. I've known of David Pack for a long time, one of the purest melodic voices around mainly because he has popped up on a lot of other artist's albums as a backing singer. I was only when I started to listen to this album carefully that I appreciated how talented all four members of this band are and what a wonderful collection of songs this represents. Many people will have heard "Biggest Part of Me" and recognised it as an iconic tune of the period, and there are very few songs in the total 16 tracks that could be regarded as fillers which will surely grow on listeners. If you like The Eagles, Christopher Cross, Boz Scaggs, Mister Mister, Johnny Hates Jazz, Michael Franks or other artists who weave good vocals with tightly arranged music you will probably like this too.

WHAT HAPPENED WITH AMBROSIA?
GOOD MUSICIANS, GOOD SONGS, GOOD SOUND.........A WONDERFUL BAND!!!!
IT'S NECCESSARY TO HEAR THEIR MUSIC TO UNDERSTAND ONE KIND OF AMERICAN MUSIC BANDS, LIKE TOTO, PLAYER, ETC. AND OTHERS IMPORTANT BANDS OF 70'S/80'S.
THE GOOD MUSIC NEVER DIES!!!!
IF YOU DON'T KNOW AMBROSIA, THIS COULD BE A GOOD MOMENT TO DO IT AND IF YOU REMEMBER THEY, REWIEW THEIR MUSIC AGAIN.

4.0 out of 5 stars Classic blue-eyed soul from the seventies! 6 July 2016
By C. S. Elsasser - Published on Amazon.com

Ambrosia is one of those rare unusual and unique bands from the 70s. Wether it's Blue Eyed Soul or New Age progressive rock, Ambrosia was right there in the center of it all. Loved and admired by millions of fans and even the likes of Kurt Vonnegut and Leonard Bernstein, this Progressive Band Saw great success throughout the seventies and early eighties. Several of their early albums were produced by the great Alan Parsons. This collection features their top hits and some of their latest all new material. The good news for the fans of ambrosia is that the band is together again and touring all over the world. Rock on ambrosia!

5.0 out of 5 stars PLEASANTLY SURPRISED AND PLEASED 7 Sept. 2013
By P. A. Panozzo - Published on Amazon.com

I always enjoyed listening to Ambrosia's big hits "How Much", "You're the Only Woman", and "Biggest Part of Me" so I decided to take a chance on this Anthology of their greatest hits and discovered that I really liked more of their songs and their music style. For example, I had never heard the song "Nice, Nice, Very Nice" and now it is as much a favorite as "How Much" and the others! I also really liked "Life Beyond L.A.", "Angola" and "Time Waits for No One". I think that if you like the songs that get a lot of air play on the radio you will like the rest of the songs you maybe hadn't heard before. I am glad I took a chance on buying this CD. I can put this one in my car player and let it play without having to skip any songs!

Loved them live at the Belly Up in Solana Beach the Spring. Play this album when we want to remember that concert, or how much we love each other. this is music to share with someone you love; whether or not you SHARED these songs when they first same out. the lyrics take you back to your early relationship, or put a smile on your face for how much you love each other today. PLUS - when Ambrosia rock, they are extremely good at Prog!

5.0 out of 5 stars Ambrosia Love 10 Jan. 2014

My daughter was growing up in the 1970's-1980's, and Ambrosia was one of the groups she and I loved to listen to together while listening to the car radio. Several of their songs evoke happy memories for me! I keep this CD in my car console now to listen to while on long drives alone--I enjoy it immensely. Thank you, Ambrosia!

I remember hearing some of these songs in the 70's and not knowing who it was. A friend turned me on to Ambrosia years later and they have some awesome Prog-rock on the album, which I love.!!

Great collection of tunes. Hugh amount of great songs on it....
